Unlike traditional rubber ferrules (rubber ferrules are the rubber stoppers that attach to the bottom of your crutches) which come with standard hospital NHS crutches, the Slipnott rubber ferrule is a high-quality ferrule that offers the user of crutches increased maneuverability , stability & safety on uneven surfaces. Their construction features a ball & socket joint allowing the ferrule’s extra large, slip-resistant base to be in contact with the ground at all times, even when it's used at an angle. A Great Discovery

After asking my local NHS Occupational Therapy department for non-slip ferrules for my crutches, I was informed they only supply one type and they weren't aware of any other ferrules. I started a search online and found rubber ferrules with a universal joint that keeps the whole surface of the ferrule in contact with the ground. I now have confidence when walking is necessaty. An excellent product. THANK YOU!

These ferrules are expensive but they are far better than standard nhs ones. They wear evenly give you good grip and last much longer. If they start to squeak. Use washing up liquid on the ball joint
